It may be the pond’s water PH, so check that .If it is earthen pond , check the soil PH as well .If you are using artificial pond ,you may need to disinfect it. You need to ascertain your water quality .It could be that the water where you stock the fish was contaminated and/or lacked enough oxygen. Did you disinfect your pond properly before you introduced your fish? What kind of pond are you using ? If it is concrete and newly built , you may need to rub palm oil ( red oil )on the walls to reduce the toxicity.
