How may I treat a newly constructed concrete pond to make it fit for stocking fishes?

  1. You need to fertilizer the pond. Get any form of animal dug such as poultry droppings, put in a sack bag ,then fill the pond with water and soak the dung in it . Ensure You could also use banana leaves as a standalone or in addition to the dung . When the greenish substances (i.e. organisms such as spirogyra , zooplankton and phytoplankton), it means the pond . You may also see other organisms such as maggots , insects or mosquitoes .It may take averagely a week to get the pond ready for stocking Flush the old water While rinsing off the water, you could use salt preferably industrial .one. Afterwards put fresh water and stock
